The Western Cowpunchers Association will host a special Spring Gathering April 17–18, 2026 at the organization’s headquarters just north of Amarillo.

Guests can enjoy a traditional Chuckwagon dinner both nights, along with poetry from the youth of Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch during the meal.

After dinner on Friday evening, acclaimed cowboy singer and songwriter R.W. Hampton will perform an intimate concert featuring music from his new album My Country. Saturday evening will conclude with a dance featuring The McKedy Band.

Because the Cowpunchers facility is designed primarily for dances, seating for the Chuckwagon dinner is intentionally limited, making this a small and personal experience for attendees.

The event is open to the public, and all proceeds will benefit the Western Cowpunchers Association and its mission to preserve and promote cowboy heritage.

Due to the intimate nature of the event, only 100 seats are available, and organizers encourage those interested to secure tickets early.
